I moved into my mother's house 2 years ago when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. I was fortunate enough to have my employer approve my working from a distance, so I work full time and care for my mother. Since my mother can still dress herself, has no mobility problems, and doesn't wander, she is not too hard to care for at this point. I mainly have problems with my mother's stubbornness. I have 2 cats that provide me with a lot of comfort; they also help entertain my mother! I hope to learn from the experiences of others on the discussion board and from resources on this site.
