Bio

My name is Nicki, I am a caregiver/ assistant for families that need a little extra help. I seemed to be drawn to Alzheimer's. Maybe it's because I have my own fears of having it one day. I try my best to do whatever is needed to help the family cope and the person to feel like a person- not a shell. There's so much beauty that is missed that I hope my presents creates comfort and peace somehow. Maybe somewhere in there, love can offer some comfort and take away the fear.I also live for those days when I get a smile, someone holding my hand as if to say Thank You. A small glimpse of hope that they know I'm here to bring comfort. Other than my passion to help, I am a mother to 5 and a wife to a wonderful understanding husband. A maw maw to a handsome little boy. The owner of a big ole cat, an old lady poodle, and a pain in the butt Lil booger- Anyone want a puppy? lol he's 1.9 lbs, not house trained, or pad trained, cries all the time, and eats alot.
