Bio

Married 54 years last April; we have three grown children, six grandchildren. Hubby first began showing signs of memory loss 10 years ago. Last two years his temper, violent behavior towards me, and other situations made me realize that he was no longer the loving man I had married and known. The need for assisted living was evident. I found the perfect facility, just three miles from our home, and moved him in this August. It's lonely for me but I know it's what both of us need. Roughest decision I ever had to make but I asked God for a sign that it was time and I got it...my back went out for three weeks and that's when I knew...if I ended up in a wheelchair, I couldn't take care of him or myself. HE continues to guide me daily.
