There are not many senior living options in Rye Brook that's why I am SO happy that residents has such a wonderful choice as one of their options - that choice being Atria of Rye Brook - now everyone who knows me already knows that I have much love for Atria communities but this one could totally drop the word Atria altogether and I would STILL think it was just as amazing.

The community is GORGEOUS - every time I visit if the weather is nice I know I will see residents outdoors participating in all sorts of activities from socializing to group activities to walking to tending to the plants/gardening and so much more. The grounds are so beautiful - I would probably be out there just as much if I lived there.

The interior is very homey and comfortable - there is just this warmth and coziness about it that feels so welcoming. When you are inside the facility you can't help but feel safe and happy and at ease. I think it's because you are surrounded by really fantastic, friendly, and just really GOOD people. People who care for one another and look for one another, support and encourage one another. I love how close the residents and staff members are - they are in SO MANY ways a family and they really enjoy spending time with one another and they are very thankful that they have so many close friends to lean on and have great fun with. One lady resident told me once that if she ever needed to talk with someone she has dozens and dozens of someone's who are happily waiting to listen. She said that she has never really had that - she sais she has always been a talker, but she said it wasn't until she moved in this community that she began to realize what it felt like to truly be heard and listened to. What it's like to know that someone is that interested in what you have to say. She said sometimes she gets teary-eyed thinking about because it means so, so much to her to have such wonderful and amazing friends. True friends.

I hear stories like that all of the time and I have seen that "closeness" and "support" play out in many different ways during my visits. There are now words to describe how happy I feel when I see that residents are 100% happy, comfortable, safe, and loved within a community. I can't even explain how incredibly wonderful that is to see and I am SO very thankful that I see it here in this community EVERY TIME I visit.

I highly encourage you to visit this community either for yourself or your loved ones, you will be so appreciative of all the outstanding features they have to offer you and/or your loved ones.
