My grandma was living at Deepwood Estates for only about four or five months. I liked the way the staff cared about the people in there. They had all sorts of stuff to do like movie night on a bigger tv then mine, i was jealous, They even took everyone on trips to the store and parks and other fun stuff outside of didn'tDeepwood Estates. I think that made my grandma and other feel like they still had alot of there freedom to come and go as the please for those people that did not have a car. Deepwood Estates also had alot of stuff to do in the building too on the days that the weather was not so good, they have crafts, like I said the tv room, games in the dining room, and of course if you don't fancy any of that stuff, you could just sit around on rocking chairs that they had outside where you could not get wet from the rain. When the Weather is nice you could go outside and walk on this nature walk that they have set up, it is a side walk going around the building where you could do a little bird watching, see the different plants and trees, or just take a walk safely. The food at Deepwood Estates was pretty good, the cooks there really knew what they were doing. I had eaten there several times, you had you had to pay $10.00 for a plate, and you even got a choice on what you wanted to eat. The staff made you feel like you where at home as soon as you walked into the door, they would interact with you, I never felt like I was in the wrong place or anything, that was cool. The prices was affordable for how big your apartment was. In the end I really do think my grandma and my family was happy about the service and care that my grandma got there, even after she passed away, they still treated us with such great kindness till the end. I will recommend Deepwood Estates for anyone that is looking for a great assisted living place for there love ones.
