I am a friend or relative of a resident
My grandmother was a resident of this facility for nearly a year before she passed away. In the beginning, the facility seemed well managed and the staff was very friendly and courteous. After 4-5 weeks they had hired a new front end receptionist. She never smiled at myself or other visiting family. I visited my Lola every Saturday. There were numerous times she would barely look up from what she was doing or utter a syllable before motioning me through the corridor. Many of the nurses on the floor were very nice to my Lola, but even a few the evening shift RN's seemed to be aggravated I was there while completing their rounds. Caring for the elderly takes a special kind of person and they must be sensitive to all parties involved in moving a loved one into a facility. Its a difficult choice we had to make and it seemed as though their attitude was in direct correspondence to their disgust. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.
