My 94 year old mother dropped her lower denture, and when I reported it to the social worker (Daisy), she had me sign a form to authorize the visiting dentist to come to the home and see to her. Three weeks later, and my mother still has no lower denture, and eating must be difficult for her. If you put a loved on in this home, be assured that you'll need to be on top of everything. It took three months (with me paying her bill) to get her enrolled in drug insurance, when I was told upon her admission that THEY would take care of getting that done. It's very difficult to find anyone who has any answers that can be relied upon. Use caution, and don't just leave a loved one there ... you need to take care of her needs as they don't seem to really care. Several items including an iPod were stolen from her room, and noone knows anything, no investigation, no nothing. Leave nothing in the room that has value. I am seriously considering relocating her to another facility. Hate to disrupt her routine but I fear she is not being take care of.

The overall impression of this facility is great. They are clean, caring of the patients, and are particularly adept at helping family members with the hard transitions that happen at these places often. The only drwabacks were that sometimes the staff were too busy to assist family members with things, and the decor is somewhat uncomfortable. It is too much like a ritzy private hospital setting, whereas I would look for something that was more home oriented. Some very good aspects are that they have many rehabilitation areas right at the facility, many anemities, and great food there! I appreciate the work that is done in these locations, and am happy to ahve my family stay there.
