I am a resident of SKLD Whitehall and it's as good as it could be with all the problems of COVID. They usually have good staff, and I've had no problem with it. I love playing bingo, so the dining hall is where we always go and it's usually pretty clean. They have pretty good food, too, and I've had no problem with it. They have a regular meal, and then they also have an alternate meal that you can get. They change the menu all the time. You get menus for what they call weeks one, two, three, and four, and then you pick out what you want for your meal. The staff is very good, very nice, and very friendly. They assist me in every way they can. I am bedridden and they have a lift to get me out of the bed to go someplace. I also have the motorized chair that I can use here. They have quite a few people that use motorized chairs. They have lots of activities and every day is different. I play bingo a lot and they have a bingo store now and then. They have what they called the bingo buck where you earn credits. They then have different things in the bingo store, like pop candy, cookies, crackers. You go in and then they'll tell you how many bingo bucks each thing costs. You have a variety of different things you can get and usually, they limit it to five items that you can get with your bingo bucks. They have games, movies, and puzzles that you can put together. They also have books to read and a lot of different things. They have certain things that break, but they have a gentleman here that takes care of everything.

Heartland Health Care Center-Whitehall is absolutely wonderful. The staff there is very passionate and takes very good care of my husband. They have all kinds of different activities for the residents there.
