I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My dad is a resident there and I am currently looking for other spots to relocate him. The rooms are not kept, walls are halfway painted, pieces of wood on floors behind beds, air conditioner falling off of wall and equipment have lots of dust and mold. I have pictures to prove it. The interaction with some staff is awful and horrendous. They are disrespectful and lazy.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My husband is a resident and has been there for 2 years. It looks very nice but don't be fooled! I have wanted to move him for a long time but he was in a facility that was even worse so I am afraid to try another facility. Since my husband has lived there, his diabetes has gotten worse since they test his sugar after he eats when his sugar is high so he gets more insulin. His clothing has all been ruined by their housekeeping staff, and they never put anything away for him so that every time I visit, I have to clean up his room. The food isn't bad but he never gets what he orders on the menu, and what is worse, he gets things he is not supposed to have, like sugar and soda with sugar, even though I have labels I typed that say "diet coke". In addition, I end up taking all the patients menus to the kitchen every Sunday when the new week starts because no one picks them up from the nurses' station. One of the reasons I chose this place is that my husband is a smoker and not many facilities allow smoking. The smoking hours were cut to 4 times a day for 30 minutes which is not enough for him so he is now being discharged (thrown out) because he "broke the rules" by smoking off hours, even though all the smokers do the same thing. Recently, my husband developed sores on his foot that have continued to get worse and his foot became hugely swollen. The facilities nurse practitioner that visits one every week or so misdiagnosed him The powder and antibiotic she ordered made it much worse, and when I brought him to a vascular surgeon outside the facility, I was told he has an inclusion, but the swelling was actually from an infection, and it was not a fungus which is why the medicine did nothing. Now I have to take him to get an angiogram as well a an infectious diseases doctor, all the while looking for another place for him to live. The worst thing is that I tell them what the issues are to help my husband and the other patients, but they just do not care.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Where to begin. Let me start with the moment you step foot into the first patient hallway. Overwhelming stench of urine. The air circulation in this place is less than adequate. There are fruit flies everywhere. When you ask a question or ask that the Nurses and aid do a job they signed up for they act like they'll get to it when they get to it. Patients are left in the dinning area where there are no blinds on the windows and sit in direct sunlight all day long. I witnessed at least two patients who had fallen due to negligence and one of them was black and blue in the face and the other had stiches on his forehead. I'm sorry but I have no good things to say about this place. If you are considering this place to bring your loved one, I suggest you keep looking.

My Uncle was a patient in Sub Acute. The staff were very attentive and caring. The rooms/building are clean and beautifully decorated.

I am a friend or relative of resident

I had a family member in this facility and was admitted to the hospital with Stage III and Stage II bed sores. The staff did not do a good job on taking care of this paitient. I would not recomend this facility to anyone.
