Located right beside a medical center, this is a small facility offering skilled nursing care and rehabilitation.

The parking situation for visitors is awful; there are limited number of spaces—and few spots in the streets nearby.

Most of the residents are seniors, and the building feels secure and safe.

There is a day room off the lobby area and a smoking area for residents to sit and congregate. Other than that, there are few activities scheduled for residents to enjoy, although they say they appreciate the snack cart that goes around periodically.

The rooms are a moderate size—with nothing fancy to them, but they are kept very clean. Most have two residents to a room.

Because it is a smaller place, there is more of an intimate feel, less like a hospital than many other nursing homes.

The staff is responsive to residents and outside caregivers—and good at following up. They are attentive to the residents and seem to make an effort to get to know family members and other visitors. And the administration is on top of everything here—knowledgeable about the residents’ needs and what is happening on the staff. They are also well organized, with little feel of calm instead of chaos.
