Miller's Merry Manor

I visited Miller's Merry Manor to see about making living arrangements for my grandmother. I had a friend of a friend that worked there and highly recommended the place. My first impression of Miller's was that it seemed like a pretty cheerful place. There were lots of windows and sunlight which was important to my grandmother. The staff there seemed knowledgeable and friendly, although when we walked up to the building we observed a staff member smoking. We later found out that this was against company policy and were told this employee would be reprimanded. Another thing that really impressed us was the dining options there. The residents could either get a custom meal sent to their rooms or come down to the main dining area to choose whichever menu items they desired. The wait staff was also very friendly and helpful. Overall, we were seriously considering Miller's as the place to send my grandmother, but unfortunately her health worsened and she had to be hospitalized before we could do anything.

Everyone was warm and friendly with a home like atmosphere for an assisted living. Not to large. Good food.
