I am a friend or relative of resident

My Aunt was admitted to this facility after being diagnosed with Stage 4 Android Carcinoma (lung and brain cancer) When we arrived they did not have her oxydizer cannula, the room she shared was cramped and they had to take the room mates bed apart to get her in her bed. The first few days were an adjustment with short oxygen hoses, no connectors, slow staff, confused nurses, and constant checking and doing research as well ass calling to get her situated. After arranging for transport to radiation treatment my Aunt began her stay at the facility. We had one family member there everyday. Every visit we were witness to lack of equipment, incompetence, in appropriate PT, OT conversations about race, gender as well as gossip about patients. They took more than 30 minutes to allow my Aunt to relieve herself on more than one occasion and on average her wait to go was 15 minutes, with diarrhea, incontinence, and medicine induced stomach issues this was not acceptable. PT connected her hose to her oxygen tank incorrectly and her SAT was 82 for 12 minutes before they figured it out. They changed out her oxydizer for a regular cannula without physician permission and lowered her oxygen level to 5 when it had never been below 6. The staff was apologetic but did not try. The attending physician Dr. Simpson, an internist in Warrenton, never visited my Aunt when she was awake. He examined all patients at 3am...while they were sleeping per the staff. The last straw was the PT incident, after my Aunts SAT fell and she request the physician to examine her and I also demanded he see her, he refused stating if she dipped in her SAT again repeatedly they should send her to the ER otherwise he trusted the nursing staff to take care of the situation and keep him informed.
