I visited this facility

This is an older skilled nursing facility with about 176 beds. The entrance is flanked by two older houses used as offices and storage. They were preparing for a special Xmas event with photos with Santa, fake snow, giants gifts, and carriages. I appreciated their effort to do something special for the residents and their families. There are different units for either temporary skilled nursing needs to long term care. There are ample areas outdoors for smokers. Some of the areas have water fountains or bird cages. The food that I saw looked like standard hospital food, but it smelled good (I got there at lunch). The only downside were the odors; tolerable but noticeable. The staff seemed friendly enough, but I no one knew who had authorized the lady and her two granddaughters waiting to hang a little Xmas bag of goodies on the room doors. I would recommend this place, but I’d shop around first
