Ohio Living Swan Creek was a very nice building. The residents were taken care of very well by the staff. I saw a few that were very kind and very good. They were good. It is a nice place. It's clean. I looked at the menu, and the people that were eating there seemed to be fine.

My parents moved to Ohio Living Swan Creek. It is beautifully kept and wonderfully maintained. It's attractive to the eye. They have wonderful nature sites to it and they use everything they can to make a little community for the residents. The apartments are beautiful. The residents are even allowed to choose the colors/paint on their walls. They also have options for the flooring and they could have whatever they wanted their kitchen and bathroom to look like. They're even given some storage area. They have a lot of things they do. They have a theater, a cafe street which includes family members to come with their parents and just makes it welcoming for the families. They also have bingo games, different communities that the residents themselves can join together for their own interests, an arts and crafts room, a library, and a beautiful boardwalk. It's pretty interesting. Their dining area is decorated and appears to be a fancy restaurant. Every day you could go there to eat. They come to you and you get your choice of every meal and what you want to eat. It's clean, beautifully kept, and decorated. The staff is so overwhelmingly friendly, helpful, welcoming, and just top-notch.

I toured Ohio Living Swan Creek for my dad. I toured all the areas, the assisted living, independent living, and memory care. It's a phenomenally gorgeous facility. We can't come close to affording it, but if I were to choose one right now, I would choose Swan Creek over anything. The facility is just beautiful, indoor and outdoor. They have trails outside for the handicapped, for wheelchairs, and everybody. They go into the forest, and it is just gorgeous. The inside facility is beautiful, and they have the most amazing chapel. The person who showed me around was great. I saw they had a little bistro and people were lined up and I could smell the coffee. They have tons of activities for residents, and there were people everywhere. It was nice to see people out and about inside the facility. When I went, it was too cold for people to be outside. But I know that they go outside. The only caveat is it's way too expensive for us.

My dad already completed his move and is living at Ohio Living Swan Creek Retirement Village. He enjoys being there. He's very excited from the first time that he took a tour at the facility. It seems to fit his needs for everything from socialization to food and housekeeping help. Their staff is very, very friendly and very helpful. They go the extra mile at all times in a very prompt manner. He has a 2-bedroom, 800 square foot unit. He's the first person to live in it. It has been completely remodeled. It's very modern, bright, lots of good lighting, lots of carefully thought-out storage, and it is beautiful. They have lots of activities planned that you can participate in. They have all levels of care available as time goes on. It's a great place and he's very happy with his choice so far. He's currently in independent living but he has the options as he continues to move along. He seems to like the food but I have not seen it because they can't have guests right now. The place is very clean, very tidy and very, very scenic. He loves it because it's set in the woods, thus the name Swan Creek. It's a nature preserve and he's a big walker. The scenery is gorgeous. That's why he chose that over other places because it's very pretty. The value so far is good. They have a summer special, it's good until next year and it's a wonderful price.

We toured Swan Creek Retirement Village. I just went to see the facilities altogether and I was thinking of assisted living, but my husband has gotten to the point now where he needs skilled care, and they do that as well. They were fantastic. If I had to choose one, it would be them, because not only are they close to my home, but their people were so above and beyond caring and wonderful. Their facilities were lovely, clean, and bright. I was only doing a visit and they couldn't do enough to give you all the information you could possibly need. The assisted living facilities were bright and roomy, and not cluttered. There's a lot of staff, and they're very attentive to the people that are there. I was very pleased with them. They had all the facilities that my husband needs. They also offer respite and skilled care. They had everything that I was looking for.

The one I like the most was Swan Creek. It had everything. It had restaurant-style dining, it had a kitchen and a bath, and the apartment was fully equipped. It had different levels of care, so you would never be asked to leave. They have a library, but they didn't have a pool. They have everything everybody else has and maybe even more. They have the same level of activities. They have a fit room. They also have a happy hour.
