Manorcare Health Services -silver Spring

My mother is in Manorcare Health Services. She has a room which they keep tidy and clean. The staff were good-natured and they kept her well-groomed. The food was very good and delicious.

Initially, I had great reservations about the facility. I did not want to leave my mother there and she most certainly did not want to stay. However, I have to say that the therapists that helped her were quite professional and helpful.

The nurses were very patient with her and despite her weight, they took care of her with really great care. They were very thorough with her medication and they seemed to administer it on very regular and timely basis.

Obviously, there are better nurses than others, so while the average nurse was helpful, there were a few that went above and beyond in helping my mother clean herself and go to the bathroom.

Overall, I can't complain about how my mother was treated at this facility. It was the first one that I've ever been associated with, but my initial concerns were alleviated and wasn't concerned with them mistreating her.
