I was a patient here for just over a month. I was very disappointed with this facility. I lost 21 pounds in that time due to the horrible food. The facility smelled like urine and poop. There was no security in or out of the building so I witnessed many homeless people entering in and out of the facility without question. The pictures they show on their website are nothing like it is today. On a positive note the CNA'S are very helpful, polite. The physical therapist are awesome and a delight to be with. They were very professional and knew how to motivate the patients. I'm rating this a two . No security, I don't think the cameras work, way too many homeless people wondering in and horrible food. I had a space of 8 x 8 with no tv or window.

While all the nursed and cna's are wonderful, the treatment nurse, Linda is an amazing woman. Knowledgeable, caring, and a joy to be around.

St Edna is a nice place, and the rooms are big. It is very clean. The staff is the one I really like because all of them are very nice people. They are very approachable, and you can ask them anything. They are so very nice; that is why I chose St. Edna. All of them are nice, from the Director of Nursing, to the staff, the caregivers, and the CNAs. They do exercises, and they have bingo. They watch movies and interact with each other. The dining area is OK. My husband goes to health care partners which are very close to St Edna. Whenever he needs to go to a facility, they always recommend St Edna. The first time that he was there, I found it to be very conducive and very nice. So every time he needs to go to a facility, I always go to St Edna.

i would not send my parent here if I was you. The worst nursing staffs. They are not very skilled in caring for people. Rude and extremely abusive to my mom. We are so glad we took her out of this place and never would recommend any family or friend to this place. My mother almost die from this place, because they had giving her the wrong medicine and never come in to check up on her. The nursing director always seems to be on the nurses side rather then yours. They never even care about your complaints. One of the worst nursing home in Orange County.

I was sent to this facility 48 hours post a knee revision surgery. I left 2 days later disgusted by the unsanitary conditions. A nurses aid was going to remove a staple from my incision and I actually had to remove it from him to stop him from doing so. I do NOT recommend St. Edna's.

I have toured this facility and it is very nice. Clean, well maintained and non-odorous. The social worker is really friendly and she know the patients very well. It is decorated homelike and when you walk thru the facility it does not feel like a nursing home. They have a nice back patio area, where the patients can sit out side. It faces the parking area, so they can see visitors come and go. They have sub-acute, short and lon term care. Patients seem happy and well cared for. I would recommend this facility.
