I visited this facility

The facility is well maintained and is very clean and sterile. The staff is mostly caregivers and the professional staff consists of RN’s and LVN Nurses. The non professional staff seemed to do their jobs but did not seem to go the extra mile. I heard several patients calling out for help and they took their time to go and check on them. Two were just calling out due to dementia but one really did need help and they took their time getting to them. I was not ok seeing this. Most of the staff is compassionate and attentive but to witness even one person being uncompassionate is not ok. I called back and alerted the Director to what I had witnessed and they said they would take care of it and thanks me for calling. I believed they would look into it; they were very appreciative of my calling them and informing them. I was impressed with the immediate promise to take care of the issue forthwith. This is an average regular nursing home. Call and schedule a tour to see for yourself if it meets your standards. It is up to standard but some of the staff falls below par and that is who makes a difference in the care of the patients. I would place a client here but I would check on them I think more often than needed until I was secure with all the staff caring for them.

My Husband has been in this facility for 6 + months. I visit him every other day. I would say the Nurses and CNAs are good , they do their jobs but really do not go out of there way. They have a few \bad seeds\" for CNAs
