Morningside Ministries at The Chandler Estate

My relative has residing in the Nursing Home section of Chandler Health Care (a division of Morningside Ministries) in San Antonio for several months now. They get really good care - by caring employees. The food is very good, they say, even though they have to adhere to the low sodium diets. In fact, my relative gained a few pounds which is okay because while they were living at home, they were neglected their diet and had lost way too much weight. I am thankful to them. A few draw backs is that patient rooms are rather small and my relative has to share a room, but there is a curtain that separates their spaces so it is okay. Residents are allowed to have some of their own furniture as much as space allows, and are also allowed to have their own laptop computers. Activities and religious services are provided on a regular basis.
