When we realized that our mother could no longer live in a Independent Living Facility, a friend highly recommend Oak Ridge because her step-mother was living there. My friend would go over in the early evenings and "spy" on her step-mom through the windows. She saw first hand, when no one was there looking, the kind and thoughtful care her step-mom received. Upon this recommendation, we selected Oak Ridge our mom has received fantastic care. The workers not only take care of her physical needs, but care for her as if she were their mom. They are loving and caring to the point that when the hair dresser cut several inches off her lovely white hair, the staff was very upset over it! We attend an annual appointment updating us on everything that pertains to her and her health.

My dad has memory issues. He is living in a memory care facility. He ended up in the hospital due to an infection from the medical extenuating circumstances. We needed to find a temporary assisted nursing care unit. I found Oak Ridge. The nurses, care support team, administration, and food have been awesome. Oak Ridge as a whole is caring, considerate and respectful to both my dad and family members. Nothing is easy when caring for our family members at times where emotional decisions must be made. But the staff at Oak Ridge have been wonderful.

My mother's currently a resident and has been there over a month. She's 89yrs old and has dementia. Uses a wheelchair, requiring a lift to lay down. There's has been 3 incidents where they left her unattended, and she fell out of her wheelchair. It is my opinion her care is substandard.

I know that this place is bad not only has they not reported my uncles medical needs they have also not treated him he should be treated. This was my first day here and ice been here for only a few hours and the day nurse didn't know what we were talking about and the night acts like he doesnt know a single thing. It took the nurse 45 minutes just to tell us that we need to get out so he could change him. Not only was this horrible for my uncle this is horrible towards the other patience. When we left and came back in a lady was screaming at us saying"I NEED HELP. I NEED HELP!" that was horrible especially since there were staff that heard her right there and heard her and just walk completely pass her and acted like there were no one there

My mother was at Oak Ridge because she could not walk initially after her accident. She was there for a good grade of time. It was great. I guess the only thing bad there was that the food wasn’t so good, but then again, it was a different type of facility, and it was more like a nursing home. She didn’t go to the cafeteria; she stayed in her room because she was not well then. They did great with the physical therapy and all of the things to get her back to normal. They were fabulous. They did a lot of assessments on her. They were very attentive. Every time I came, they asked me if I had any questions. They went over everything with me. They loved her, and they gave her a lot of attention because she was an easy patient. She had excellent care there, and she actually improved quite a lot. It impressed me that their care was so good and their nursing care was excellent. The rehabilitation and physical therapy departments were excellent. Not only that, but when you would sit down at the round table meeting with all the caregivers, the staff would be prepared. They knew her. They weren’t looking at their notes, and I was pretty impressed by that because they saw a lot of people. They were attentive to what I thought was the problem. When I asked for anything, they followed through and had it done within 24 hours usually.

I was looking for a place for my dad and went into the center and met with the Director. I couldn't believe the behavior that he displayed. He didn't want to answer my questions was not caring at all. He had a young girl in his office that was not an employee and she stayed listening to personal medical information about my dad. His behavior was so unacceptable I worry about the patience there. There was a poor little women in a wheel chair asking for someone to take her outside and get her out of there, nobody and I mean nobody came to help her or talk to her, not even the director. My son who was with me said we are done, and told the director he acted like a use car salesman. So unprofessional - I wouldn't leave my anyone that I loved in such a place. Shame on them.
