I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mom stayed at Belle Terrace Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. I would not have anyone stay at that location. They didn't follow COVID protocols. They were very delayed in answering when patients buzzed for assistance. I found medication on the floor. There were non-working toilets. The cleanliness of the room was not good. The quality of the food was poor. The temperature of the food was not always hot. I didn't really see too many activities. I could see that the staff there was trying, but I really think they were short staffed.

Non-working toilet for patient for 3+ weeks. COVID protocols not being followed. Medication found on the floor. Staffing issues. Long wait times when patients buzz. Bathing not completed as scheduled. Staff responsive to family requests. Patients need an advocate. Would not recommend this facility.

I visited this facility

My father was in this facility for 24 hours before he ended up in the hospital. He slid out of bed after having surgery on his hip. He fell to the floor and called and called for help. He finally dialed 911 after he dragged himself to the phone. I hurried there and the ambulance was there. They assessed his condition and determined that they didn’t need to take him. The hospital was already crowded and didn’t think he needed to go. He ended up being taken later on for aspiration pneumonia. I went to the facility to get a report. They told me I refused to have my father taken to the hospital which I did not. The emt’s made that call as they told me he really seemed ok and didn’t think they needed to go. Why would I do that? Truth is they documented that I refused calling me in essence-a liar. Then refused to give me any documentation because my father was not a patient as of present because he was in the hospital. I’m sure their report was written up to put them in the best light possible. I got so many versions of what had happened that night from different people. Till my sister and I finally got matching stories. I could go on about this garbage facility. I wouldn’t let them take care of my goldfish. Beware!! Go somewhere else

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My wife is in Belle Haven Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Quakertown. It's a skilled nursing home. The place seems nice and clean, and they're doing a good job. They're taking care of my wife the best that they can because she has dementia. It's awfully expensive as far as I'm concerned, but I guess all the homes are. The keyword is skilled, and my wife needs skilled nursing because she has a catheter in her. I haven't been in any other nursing homes, and this is the first time my wife was in one, but they're all trying to do their job and everyone's nice to her. She's under physical therapy and speech therapy too. Right now, I'm paying $360 a day. They told me that there are homes that are more expensive, so I guess they're more or less a median price one, because there are also homes that cost less.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

Belle Haven had skilled dementia care so we chose this after my wife was discharged from the hospital. She's only been there two weeks. The facility has just been renovated. I liked that it was close by where I lived.

I am a friend or relative of resident

Belle Haven USED to be THE BEST nursing home until it was bought out by Guardian Care [in Sept 2012]. Since then it has become THE WORST nursing home ever. This weekend my mother was molested by another resident there. When learning more about the incident, I find that there was another incident 2 days prior by the same resident.......and nothing was DONE!!!! Please, if you care at all about your elders, do not place them into skilled care at this facility.
