Chestnut Hill Conv Center

Chestnut Hill is a very nice Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living center in a very quiet and peaceful area of Passaic. The center is set up very nicely, each care level is set up, laid-out, and designed appropriately according to the abilities of the residents in them. The Assisted Living area is made more to accommodate more active residents who only need assistance with certain things, while the Skilled Nursing unit is designed for people who need intricate care. The staff members in both areas are very nice and I think they were meant to do what they do because they are perfect at it. They are so nurturing and patient and caring. They really build the residents up and do special little things for them that make them feel important and loved. They are also very good in their interaction with resident families, they are very supportive and empathetic with what the families are going through, especially when their loved one's (the residents) are failing in health or going through troubling times.

They have a lot of amenities and services available to the residents and they make it so the residents will want or need for nothing - they have proven that they will go to the ends of the earth to meet each and every one of their resident's needs. They have shown the residents, resident families, and all others that the residents are their very first priority and focus and that NO MATTER WHAT they will be protected, treated well, and cared for in the best, most ethical way possible. I have always been very impressed with all the staff members here and the things they do for the residents and families. They are really great people who treat each resident like their own, because in their eyes the residents are their family.

There are also many activities and things for the residents to do - things to keep them entertained and as active as they are able. I like that they have so many opportunities and activities and programs that help to challenge them physically and stimulate them mentally. The activities and events that happen around the center are very creative and they are things that the residents enjoy doing.

Chestnut Hill is excellent in their care of Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing residents and I know the residents really, really feel comfortable and that they are so happy.
