I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

We are keeping mom at Prescott House. It's a lovely place. Everything is always neat and clean. I've never seen anything that isn't. It always smells good, it doesn't smell like disinfectant or like a hospital. They are outstanding. It's a small community, and it is very clean, very neat, and orderly. They have caring staff. Mom has a shared room, with a private bath and a view of a very nice garden. Even though she has a roommate, they have their own space and their own privacy. I've tried their food and it's good. The dining area looks very neat and clean. They have different activities like cooking classes and community things. The therapy team there is very good. This facility's price is comparable with the others in the area, and we are very pleased to be there. Their care team is super and I am impressed with their social worker in particular.

I visited this facility

We are definitely living in a new Covid-19 world and Prescott House is taking advantage of it. My 88 year old Dad's stay was absolutely horrible, they treated him terrible, they outright LIED on his physical therapy documents, which are a legal document, and released him to us, we could not see him at all, he lost about 40 pounds and PT notes stated on the day of his release that he could go up 5 stairs and walk 50 feet, I needed the fire department to get him in his home, he couldn't even stand up, so how does this decline happen in a half hour on the way home?? Please don't send your loved one there.

I am/was a resident of this facility

I was in for rehab services... my PT's and OT's were great, always pushed me to do more....nurses and aides were pleasant and helpful...mostly impressed with few aids that went far and beyond to help out and always stayed cheerful. Had to ask few times to get the room swept/mopped because it was not cleaned daily, only restroom was wiped down daily. Food was horrible, cold, portions small which are ok for seniors but I was middle aged female that was always hungry.

Everyone needs to be aware that this is an alarm-free facility. My husband was a patient in the rehab section for less than 12 hours to be strengthen because he is a high fall-risk person. Because the facility has no alarms, my husband got out of bed without being monitored and fell and hit his head on a pointed-corner dresser. This resulted in a broken rib, severe head gash (requiring 10 stitches), minor concussion, and a brain bleed. He underwent 9 brain cat scans to determine when the internal head bleeding stopped. The swelling is the brain will heal itself in time. DO NOT SEND anyone who needs care to this facility - - they are NOT qualified or equipped to handle your loved one !!!!!!!

I visited this facility

Prescott House was very good. They had private rooms where you can sit down and have family dinner. I saw the dining room, and saw that they had decent-sized portions. They had a salon, sing-alongs, exercises, and music. I would recommend them.

I visited this facility

Prescott House was clean, but it could use some updating. The rooms seemed a bit small, and the set up was kind of difficult to get around. They had a recreation activities director.

My mother was at Prescott House for a rehab for over a month. It’s a very nice facility. They have a nice garden for the people to sit in. They have a nice sunny porch for the people to go to. Her physical therapists were great. She got very good care. I can’t say enough good things about the nurses and LPN. The aides were very nice. It's a nice place. They made it as homey as they could in the rooms. They always answered any problems I had. It was just really nice to be there.

Presscott House had a very high state rating. I think it's a very good facility. It's clean, orderly, well-managed, and they communicate well about my brother-in-law's status. The staff is very good. My brother-in-law shares a room with another resident. It's a locked Alzheimer's unit, but he's happy there. He said he enjoys the food. I think it's very well-run. I don't have any complaints.
