Jesmond Nursing Home

Jesmond is a small nursing home with less than 60 beds. The facility is well maintained with beautiful gardens and well cut lawns. Nahant beach is 5 minutes from the nursing home. Jesmond is well secured with a reception area for check-ins. Some residents live in private rooms while others prefer to share. Nurses are available 24 hours to provide care and they seem to interact closely with the residents. The nurses I have encountered with seem to know residents by name. Residents are served with balanced meals three times a day and snacks are provided. Special diets are available for residents with diet restrictions. Residents who require hospitalization are usually rushed to hospitals in the neighboring town of Lynn as there is no hospital in Nahant. However, residents need not to worry because the closest hospital is 10 minutes away. I would recommend Jesmond to seniors who prefer to retire in a quiet place that is near the Atlantic Ocean.
