Why the safety areas are so vague. The bed railings are no longer able to be used. The mat by the bed isn't used unless they have a harder fall. The safety alarms are stopped and no longer able to be used, so if my mother tries to stand up and walk, there is no alarm to warn anyone she is up. There must be a reason for these changes and regulations, however, it's very hard to to watch the vulnerability increase when your loved one is becoming more engaged in the fog of dementia.
