Eastside Health and Rehab Center

I noticed several problems with this facility. One was with the delivery of Medications. My friend was difficult about taking one so the staff was supposed to stay with her and observe her taking it. The did not because I would find it hidden away and brought it to the attention of management. Other meds she would have taken simply were never delivered! I frequently found red lights ignored.My friend told me one day that there had been an incident across the hall overnight when a patient had fallen out of bed and had been able to call for help. He laid there for two hours before help came and then was told "we don't need to mention this to anyone, do we."Absolutely everything that was not nailed down was stolen from her including new underwear and personal gifts.

I had a horrible experience while my aunt was at Eastside. Although the paperwork admission process went smoothly, with a very nice, professional staff person explaining everything quite throughly to us, I was shocked to overhear a nurse say to the admission clerk, "why do you bring us such train wrecks..you must not care" This is wrong to say when patient and family are nearby in earshot. My aunt was transferred back to the hospital in less than 2 days, and we certainly were not going to return. My advice":BEWARE!
