I visited this facility

Porter is a wonderful facility that seems to exceed the standard care of most facilities I have seen. The staff is above par in their care of the patients I observed. The staff is well educated and professional yet compassionate. The patients are clean, bright and alert. They are well cared for and they are happy to share this fact. The patients I spoke with said they are well cared for. There are many activities to keep the patients alert and active, Bingo, Arts and Crafts, Movies, Bridge, Dominos, Chess and board games. There are civic and religious groups that bring in programs such as music concerts and plays. There is Worship services also brought in for the spiritual needs of the patients also. The food is standard fair due to dietary restrictions as ordered by the patient’s doctors. All diets are accommodated from Kosher to Vegetarian. The staff is simply attentive and kind. I highly recommend this facility.
