Heritage Health Care has a staff that is amazing and compassionate. The staff is well educated and their training is evident in how the staff cares for their patients. The patients are happy, bright and alert. They were clean and up and about. The staff is professional and goes above and beyond to make life exciting while your loved one is here. The facility has short and long term options. There are Alzheimer's and Dementia patients who have other aliments but there is not a specific memory unit here. The staff is extremely attentive to the Memory patients who may wonder. The patients here are their priority which I witnessed over an over. The activities calendar is full of arts and crafts, exercise classes, movies days, outings away from campus for those able to get out as well as civic and religious groups who bring programs and worship services for their enjoyment. The facility was extremely clean and well maintained. The families and friends are encouraged to come often to visit to keep their spirits high and to encourage them. The patients stated that they love the staff and feel safe and secure here. The menu is well planned and all diets are accommodated. The patients also stated the food is excellent and often ask for seconds. There are special touches fresh baked goods and movie night with fresh popcorn. I know I would love for my loved one to be place in Heritage. This facility exceeds state standards. I would place my loved one here.
