Heritage at Shepherd Hills is a beautiful facility that takes their charge of caring for seniors serious. The staff here was delightful and very friendly. From the moment I walked into the door they were compassionate and kind to me as well as the patients. There is a quiet respect here from the staff toward their elders and this was evident from every staff member. The patents were well cared for, they were clean, bright and alert. They were active and out and about. The bedridden patients were also clean, bright and alert. The staff was engaging to all of the patients. I saw one staff member playing cards with a patient and another was engaged in a spirited game of dominos. The staff here makes a point to keep the patients mind as well as their bodies busy with activity to keep them from becoming isolated and disengaged. The professional staff of PT/ST and OT is here daily to keep the patients motivated to improve and engage life. The facility is beautiful and clean, the common areas are cozy and inviting for visitation and the grounds are lovely peaceful and serene. I was impressed with the administration of this facility. It is clear the staff cares for the seniors they are care for and I would place my loved one here.
