Laurelwood staff here is what makes the difference. When you walk in the door you are greeted with a smile and pleasant hellos. The grounds are well maintained and the common areas are clean and nicely decorated. The staff is attentive and well trained professionals. It is clear that the staff cares about their patients as they show great compassion toward them. The patients are clean, bright and alert. Those who are able to leave their rooms are active and kept engaged in activities and events. The menu is well planned with healthy freshly prepared meals daily. I asked one resident how she felt living here she said the staff is like her children. She said she loves them and they love her back. That is the best testimony you can ask for. I witnessed great compassion and gentle kindness several times during my visit. The facility is well equipped with all of the State of the Art needs to enhance a better quality of life and prepare those who will be able to return home. There are both short and long term options. There is not a specific memory care wing but they do accommodate all who is in need. This is a great facility and your loved one will be well cared for here. I would place my loved one here.
