Everyone did a wonderful job with my mom. I really appreciate everything they did. The administrator was wonderful! My mom will be back here if she ever needs therapy again.

Thank you for your kindness and thoughtfulness during the admission of my mother. We feel God put you her there for s reason. We knew little about the place so it was great to see a familiar. Again we would like to thank the team for all they did especially Admission Director Lisa.

This was the worst place me and my siblings could have ever imagined. This was our first time ever experiencing rehab for our mom and we pray we will never have to deal with anything like this again, but it left an everlasting impression on us all. All that I can say I pray a place I would never have to go to. A child or family member should never have to call and ask why........From the day my mother got there it was horrible not even the bed rails had been wiped down. I brought in Clorox wipes to do this and to wipe down the door frame and handles. The jack and Jill bathroom that she shared and might I add never used by my mom. Was not cleaned once the toilet was filthy. The sink got cleaned when we cleaned it. The windows didn't open properly and the blinds we're as old as the bldg was. For the first two days they never even got my mom up she had knee replacement. It took me calling to get them motivated. They had the nerve to ask where her walker was ???? Really ??? Then they grab a potty chair from the hall way in the corner. You've got to be kidding me. And to think her insurance surely got billed for these supposedly new items. There were a couple good nurses there. However there were many mornings she would have to wait for someone to come let her use the bathroom. And then she would have to wait longer for someone to come get her. what amazes me is the patents there are someone's mom and dad brother or sister. My last comment is this. If you don't have the money to provide top notch care for patients. Then Shut it down. We made the mistake of not actually being able to go there first due to the quickness of the surgery. But you can make no mistake it won't happen again.

Hello, My name is Arnie and I have a great aunt(who I call my grandma because she raised my mom and my mom calls her ma)who now stays at the Guardian Care center. I grew up always visiting her home with my papa(who is her partner but were never married)and sister who stayed with my aunt as well. She is very dear to me and her well being is of utmost importance. I believe Guardian Care is a good place for her. Although, honestly it can smell pretty ripe in the halls if you don't mind me saying so. Hehe. I wouldn't know if most smell as such because I don't visit too many rest homes I must say. But besides that, the employees are kind and the patients are wonderful. Every elder person I've met there has been very nice.Guardian Care is a very spacious building, although from the appearance when first entering the parking lot it may appear small. Most rooms have 2 beds on each side of the room. I believe you do have to bring your own TV, etc. The dining room is very spacious, this is also where the bingo games are hosted. So far in my visits I've only been a couple of places inside. But the places and parts I have seen were Ok or really nice. Outside has nice flowers, no patios or places for the elderly to spend time out in the front but at the front entrance porch. Maybe around the back. This is my review of Guardian Care in Henderson, NC.
