Hammond Nursing Home

This facility was professional in tending to the patients. The staff was nice and willing to help the visitors and well as the residents. It was kept clean and orderly and the bathroom were cleaned on a regular basis. The residents were kept cleaned and tended to on a regular basis.

My stepdaughter is in there and I hate it there. It's very dark. It's very nasty and it's very stinky! I don't find the people as friendly as I think they should be to toward the patient. Well, I'm not there all the time, I just see what's going on on the weekends when I go and visit. There's also a couple other things I have issue with there and I don't know who to talk to about it. I spoke with a couple of people there and they assured me that the problem will be taken care of. Not only has it not been taken care of but it has gotten worse. So I'm really not happy with her being there. I don't have control over where she's at because of her son.

I wouldn't recommend the facility. They need to improve their cleanliness and their treatment towards residents and its family members.
