There are not many places in the area to begin with and this is probably the best of what's up there. The staff was very friendly, some were helpful than others, but they're very concern with my dad and that's what's important. He's probably ready to go into a Dementia care ward. They're letting him stay where he is because he's a very positive upbeat, friendly person, and he has a very positive influence on the other residents. So they're doing everything they can to keep him there.

He's been there for four years now. He's eating well. They put him on a diet and he lost 40 lbs. and he's no longer diabetic. He's Dementia is more than moderate, but he seems to be eating well. He didn't really liked it when he first started, but once he realized that this was going to be his home, he changed his attitude. He's gotten very active with the residents. They have a singing group that he's involved in. He tries to stay active.
