I am a friend or relative of a resident
My grandmother has Alzheimer's but is still relatively independent at this stage. We were looking for a community that could help her through all stages and we found it at Broadway Plaza. They offer so many options for housing, floor plans and it's even a gated community with a staffed guard. It's in an excellent part of southwest Fort Worth called Cityview and it's close to shopping, activities, as well as hospitals. The staff is extremely friendly and competent. They have activities for the residents and even offer an indoor pool. The dining room area resembles that of a luxury hotel and is very inviting. There are also several menu options and they offer dietary restrictions if necessary. If there is ever a need for rehab or therapy, that is also available. One of the best things is that it is a Medicare approved facility. I can't recommend this community enough!
As a professional in Texas, I have referred clients to Broadway Plaza Cityview, which is a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), providing independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing home care, all on one campus-like setting.
This CCRC offers a full range of lifestyle options, from independent, neighborhood-like villas to main building apartment living to private suites. Also offered are care options, from no assistance for active seniors to some assistance for those needing help with daily tasks to medical care for those needing skilled nursing care.
One client commented: "I moved here because of what they offer. I know I will be here forever, no matter how much my needs change, this place can provide what I need." Another client added: "This is a beautiful place, with just about anything you can think of. I really enjoy it here, wonderful people (staff) & great friends, can't ask for more."
This appears to be an excellent & comprehensive retirement community, providing quality setting, services & activities for seniors to enjoy quality living, no matter what their needs or how they may change in the future.
