I stayed following knee surgery. The overall care was good to excellent. The food was very good to medicore. They really tried very hard to please and were welling to make any reasonable changes. The checkout procedure was very slow and promises did not really occure as stated.

I did not like this facility very much. It was highly unorganized and understaffed. The nursing staff were always busy with other residents, taking orders, or scrambling around finishing up paper work. They were not readily available when we needed them. The administrators just cared about getting all the beds filled rather than the actual care for the patients. When the nurses were available they were highly considerate and very caring. They would often go beyond their means to help my grandma get what she needed. Another positive aspect of the facility was the activities. They had arts and crafts, bingo, and took my grandma to the movies at least once a month. I appreciated that effort on the facilities part. I feel that if the facility were staffed at a higher percentage it would've been a 5-star impression. The administration of this facility seems greedy because they do not want to loose money by staffing more people to take care of the patients. They just try to have the bare minimum for state regulation guidelines.
