I am a friend or relative of resident

My dad recently spent 3 weeks at Mills-Peninsula Skilled Nursing. Conveniently located right next to Mills Peninsula Hospital, it's an older facility but it seems clean and well-maintained. I thought the nurses were exceptionally good. They were pleasant and helpful, no matter how difficult my dad sometimes was. My dad always seemed to get a lot of attention from them, and they even provided sitters for him when he had bouts of delirium or restless nights. We were less impressed with the doctors who, although very experienced and well-qualified, seemed to be pretty set in their approach and we had to push for them to consider other options. I liked how they assigned a case worker who met with all the doctors periodically to assess my dad's condition and recommend a future course of treatment for him. But my dad did complain a lot about the food - typical boring hospital food, he said. Overall, I was pretty happy with the care my dad received at Mills-Peninsula Skilled Nursing.
