Magnolia Gardens Care Center

I visited this facility

I used to visit this facility for community service purposes when I was in school. My friends and family and I would make decorations, cards, gifts, etc... and deliver them to the nursing/old folks patients at Magnolia Gardens. We would also spend a few hours talking and conversing with the patients or taking light walks with them or helping them with their medications or watching television with them. I enjoyed going here, the old folks were very interesting and had a cultivated opinion and zest for life. They taught me a lot about a variety of things. And not only did i feel good about helping them and brightening their day, but I also felt good as I knew I was giving back to the to the community and doing my job as an American Citizen.
