Embassy House Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr

This facility is one of the worst places imaginable. Paint is coming off the walls in every room with blood, filth and other questionable matter splattered here and there. My father was there for a total of 1 week, and then we had him moved. The nurses are vial and mostly do not speak english. The only way for paitients to get water other than from the bathromo sink is to ask an orderly for some, and then you might wait two hours. Ice is not avaiable in this faciility. Doctors are not on staff but on call so if you do have any health needs for your loved one you should avoid this place. Anyone with ongoing medical conditions should also avoid this place. Elevators are password protected via touch pad. In the event of fire there is little escape because the stairways are locked to keep the wanderers on the floor they belong to.I was unable to have my fathers medical records back from there filing department because no one person works in that department, its a free for all. My overall experience was a total nightmare and I Pray that this place closes for humanitarian reasons.

My grand mother was staying at this nursing home up until she passed away. There was a covered deck out front of the building with chairs for the residents to sit on. The inside of the building was done very well the tiling and carpeting in few areas were very nice. I was appreciative of the security features it had, in order to use the elevator you had to press two buttons at a time. The staff their was very helpful and quite upbeat in the situation they were handed. my grand mother was a large women she weighed 415 pounds and everyone in the staff was sensible about the situation. I enjoyed meeting everyone there.
