My mom was at this facility from 11/21 to 2/22 when she passed. The food was terrible, some staff non caring and insensitive. Seems my mom was a problem because she wouldn't go in the diaper and got agitated with the staff. There were a few she did like and they cared for her. They want the patients to be drugged up so they can just lay in the bed. I tried to be her advocate. My mom passed in February and to this date the administration has not offered any type of sympathy or condolences. I was contacted by the social worker to pick up my mother's belongings after I had already picked them up and she looked me in the face as I was waiting for the items. I emailed the adm to let them know it was disheartening that noone reached out to me and stating what the social worker did and no reply. My mom didn't matter to them. Don't take your family here. They don't care and the care is not good.

The quality of care at this facility is unprecedented. The staff is caring and attentive to all of my moms concerns and go above and beyond to be sure she is happy. I highly recommend their assisted living facility to anyone looking for a safe and home-like place for their parents. Thanks Bridgeway!

Our mom was here for a while and after a staff change things were horrible. Mom called at least once a day crying, most days it was due to being sore and not clean. Towards the end she was constantly getting UTI’s which the East Wing Supervisor neglected and most times were noticed by my sister and myself. After talking to them and even to the Administrator she was still left to the point where 911 had to be called. Mom ended up passing from Sepsis Shock. Sadly, we tried to be her advocate but we were ignored.

They only seem to be interested in turnover (get them in and get them out), not results. After my father’s hip surgery, he was discharged with less than two weeks of rehab, and they claimed he was ambulatory, but he could not walk and needed 24/7 skilled in-home nursing care at our expense. The staff was even sly in discharging him on the weekend, when nobody (no rehab technicians, no doctors, and no social workers) were working.

In January my aunt fractured her pelvis and required physical therapy. She was 99 years-old and was completely self-sufficient, living in her own apartment and taking care of her own affairs prior to her fall. Enter Bridgeway at Bridgewater. We were concerned about her going to a facility even for a short stay given the COVID surge. After being assured by the Admissions staff that both their residents and staff had been vaccinated, we decided to send her there. Nine days into her stay, she contracted COVID. What they failed to mention was that patients and staff were not required to be vaccinated. Apparently that's their right. Unfortunately no one cared about my aunt's rights as they allowed an infected staff member into her room. Then they just let her stay there for a week until her condition deteriorated and she developed pneumonia before sending her to a hospital. We had to insist that she be transferred to a hospital. After a two month battle she passed away, due to the neglect she received from this facility. If you have a loved one who you truly care about, under no circumstances send them here. I should have followed the advice of a son who wrote about his father who also contracted COVID at the facility and died as a result of the lack of care received. Don't make my mistake. Keep far away from this facility.

My grandmother was at Bridgeway in their long term care wing. The people were just absolutely wonderful to my Nana and our family. Everyone in the place was so nice and helpful. Nana was at two other places in the area until we settled her in at Bridgeway. Family owned and the best!
