Maplewood Park Place

my folks live at Maplewood and I visit every weekend. A well maintained facility with a dedicated staff. They offer a full range of services and care.

Maplewood is a nice community, it is clean, appears well run and has separate towers for independent and assisted living. They organize a fair number of event both in the facility but also in Washington DC (with transportation often provided for residents). This helps keep the place feel a bit more active than other senior living communities I have visited.

My grandparents have been residents at Maplewood for about 13 years now and they couldn't be happier. The staff is always friendly, happy to help and they seem to genuinely care about the residents and their lives. The facility is well kept and always makes me feel welcome and comfortable when I come to visit. The main dining room is a nice place to dine when visiting however the food is not great. Seems bland and the dishes get repetitive. Overall I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who wants their loved ones to feel happy and comfortable at this stage in their lives.
