My grandmother was a resident of the Teresian House. She had alzemiers disease. She shared a room with one other woman whom also had the same disease. They were friendly with each other but always forgot whose bed was whose. The Teresian House has a flower garden centered in the middle of all the rooms. The residents and their families enjoyed sitting in the garden and watching the birds and butterflies flying around. the flowers game them something to ponder and watch grow. it was very enjoyable for all who lived there. They liked to bring everyone there to show them their favorite flowers. Sometimes they would have meals in the garden. they also had music hour and would dance and have fun. The staff were very helpful. They directed the residents to their proper rooms when they got confused. They assisted where needed. It was a very friendly atmosphere and different than most places.
