I toured Addolorata Villa in Wheeling, Illinois. Addolorata Villa is a continuing care retirement community that provides independent living, assisted living, Alzheimer's support, memory support and skilled nursing care. We were specifically looking at the independent living option, but the staff discussed the other options offered. I liked the various levels of care. It is comforting to know that a resident could remain in a facility that they know as home, as they experience the need for other levels of care. I thought that the grounds were well maintained. The facility was older, but clean and cared for. It is situated in a nice area of Wheeling, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. The staff was kind and well informed. I enjoyed all my conversations with the staff. There are many special activities and event s offered to the residents. I would recommend Addolorata Villa for independent living, assisted living, Alzheimer's support, memory support and skilled nursing care.
