Rooms are nice size but kitchen cabinets very limited. Only one drawer. Had to purchase another cabinet from Amazon to house my kitchen items. Liked my big patio. Was told this property was completely non smoking but encountered a resident smoking on property. Reported to management and they moved them to another building but they are still smoking on property near the laundry room I use. Wish lunch had more healthy options for diabetics. Kitchen staff is great. Rent raised within 3 months of moving in which is hard on someone with limited income. Wish they would have told me before.

I toured LifeStream at Youngtown. We liked the setup. The rooms were big. The people seemed very happy there. The staff was very pleasing and super nice. They had activities. We didn't get into them a whole lot, but they had a good list of stuff that they did. The location was also prime. They actually gave us a free meal there and it was delicious. Everything was clean.

We liked LifeStream at Youngtown. They only served lunch, and we did have lunch and it was good. The thing I liked most about it was it was a single apartment. They weren't on top of each other. I did speak to the residents, and they said they liked it there. The staff who gave us the tour was great. He was a nice guy. They had amenities, like bingo and poker. The dining area was OK. It was a little small, but not that bad. They didn't have a menu. It went by this little card thing that they had each day. They only served one meal a day. The soup was good, but the pasta could have been better. Some things needed to be cleaned up like the doggy park. But other than that, it was fine. They would do doctor appointments at a certain distance, like 10 miles or something. And then I think they would take you over to the senior citizen or something like that. They didn't have a pool. The outside of the building looked good. They kept it up.

The apartments at LifeStream at Youngtown were spacious and it was in a lovely area, but they were not doing enough normal maintenance to make the place look presentable. As soon as you drive up, you see the fascia boards peeling and sun-rotted and so on. So, that was off our list. The person who gave the tour was helpful. He did his job. We didn't talk a lot of numbers because in our mind, it was already a no and he probably figured that out. He wasn't stellar, but he did what he was supposed to do and he's friendly, kind, and answered questions. The buildings were scattered across the campus and you'd get one meal a day. For that, you'd have to walk outside. I always refer to the summer we just had and I don't think 80-year-olds should be walking. The dining area was also their craft area and meeting area. It was multipurpose. I think it would be fine. It just didn't seem to offer as much as the other facility I visited.

LifeStream at Youngtown was more like putting my dad right back in the situation that he's in, living within a manufactured home community. It was more of an isolation than inclusion. So, he didn't particularly like that one. I think the director was fairly new, but he did the best that he could do. The facilities seemed to be more outdated than updated.

I chose LifeStream at Youngtown because of the price. The staff here is all great and very helpful. They care about the people that live here. I've had a great experience so far. There's a ton of things to do every day. They've got a club for those of us that like to knit or crochet (they meet once a week), groups that like to play games -- I love their games and I'm going to be very active in that group -- and they go out once a week with their minibus. They take you to area stores and every week is a different store, so you get out a little bit more and socialize. My room is called the Deluxe Studio. Everything in it is very nice. I can decorate it in any way I care to. I like it. It's not too big, but it's not too small. Housekeeping comes in every other week. They'll do the floors and clean the kitchen if need be. You do your own laundry, which is not a problem. It's clean and it comes with a cable TV. I also have a kitchenette where I can cook. So, it's extremely nice here. I'm very pleased.

I moved into LifeStream at Youngtown. It has been a very positive experience. The girl who showed me around was very informative and it became obvious that I really liked it here. She was very nice to me and very welcoming. They were very accommodating. The staff is very nice and very concerned. They do have activities, but I have not yet participated in anything. They provide lunch, cleaning, and free laundry facilities. They have a library and other things. I have a big studio apartment, which is adequate for me. My apartment has been recently renovated. They changed the appliances and everything is new. It even smells new. The facility is very nicely located away from the highway.

LifeStream Complete Senior Living at Youngtown was very clean, very professional, and well maintained. The staff was extremely helpful. They listened to our needs for my brother and were professional, accommodating, and well-informed. They gave us a tour of the facility that was very helpful. The room was pretty standard. It was clean and maintained. We just went to see one in that particular facility. It was a studio, and it was a decent size. It had all of the things that would be needed for independent living, like a fridge, a stove, and a small kitchen. There were some limitations because of COVID, so we didn't try any food. We did not get to see their dining room because, at this point, you have to go pick up your meals and take them back to your own room. They had an indoor pool. It is a small facility. I was impressed. Their grounds were well-groomed. It was clean, and there was no trash around. The only thing is that it was a little bit older.

It's independent living that I toured at LifeStream Complete Senior Living at Youngtown, although they do have memory care and assisted living there if I needed it. It was very clean. It was very close to a lot of essential places like dentists, barbers, hairstylists, nails, and all that stuff there. Grocery stores aren't far from there, so that was really handy. They showed me really clean apartments. They have a nice dining building, which is a regular building for that. It's got games in the same part of the building, too. In my case, they would offer me one meal a day and I could choose breakfast, lunch, or supper. It's really clean and well put together. The staff is nice and everything, too. It's got a nice area where I could ride my pedal bike, and I could jump on my bike and take a ride. Outside the perimeter, the surrounding area, is neat, too. It looks really clean and safe, and that's what I look for. Some people were sitting in the dining room waiting to eat lunch, and other people were sitting in the game room and they were playing cards. The staff was very informative and very professional. They answered all the questions that I had, and they gave me more information than I even thought of. I like it. I looked at the menu that was hanging on the wall, and it looked pretty good and healthy.

My parents were in LifeStream Complete Senior Living at Youngtown. They were in independent living, and it was satisfactory. They had literally zero interaction with the staff. The food was inedible, the choices were poor, and I was really unhappy with it. When they would get their food, it was all in one container, so it all ran together and be mushed together. When they started delivering it to them when they were in lockdown, it would come to them sideways in the container. Not only was it not good, it was poor quality food and not presented or delivered in a manner that my parents, even though we paid for it, quit taking the meals probably over a year ago.

LifeStream was awesome. It's very well taken care of and clean. Everyone seemed pretty happy there. The staff was very knowledgeable. They seemed to actually care. They're checking on the seniors regularly. They came up with programs like an ice cream truck where they went around and delivered ice cream door-to-door just to cheer them up. The food was really good. It was great. The facility was very nice.

My sister used to stay at LifeStream in Youngtown. They had independent living and when she fell and could no longer do that, we moved her into the assisted living. She was in the independent living for five years and loved it. She was happy there. She had good neighbors. She was in a fourplex, so she had her own home. She really liked it, and she wanted to stay with LifeStream when she needed assisted living, but that didn't work out like it did in the independent living. They were 1-bedroom houses, so they had everything like a washer and dryer, a full kitchen, a bedroom, a living room, and a nice bathroom. They were fine facilities. Before Covid, they had musical things, and they had some singers over that they always liked. For activities, they rent a bus and take the residents to other places, and they go to lunches and that sort of thing. They had a good activity program.

My mother lived their two years and rent went way up during this time. I had to move her to a more affordable and caring facility. We cleaned and left her apartment cleaner then when she moved in. Property manager stated the apartment looked good and my mother would receive deposit back within two months. Now they say they had to replace all the carpet for stains they found. Its a shame this person managing the property takes advantage of the elderly in this way.

The Dimentia/Alzheimer's care unit is a joke. They are not equipped to handle Sundowning Syndrome, which affects 20% of Alzheimer's patients. If your loved one develops this and begins to wander at night, the staff is unwilling and unable to manage it. They will have you searching for a new facility immediately.

LifeStream Complete Senior Living at Youngtown was more of what I was looking for. I was driven around in a golf cart, and I got to see the two apartments that I could afford. One had a washer/dryer, which was the one that I liked, and I knew my furniture would fit in there. The activities on the calendar were what I was looking for. It had eight apartments in a building. There were a lot of trees and the landscaping was nice. The lady who took me through was absolutely wonderful.

We found Life Stream and are waiting for them to put in new carpeting. It's a neat, well-taken care of facility of modest appearance. The location is just right. We were able to get a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment, available immediately. One of the key features we like is that our apartment has a washer and dryer. The dining area is about 50 yards from our door, so we don't have to walk far. The meals are served restaurant-style with waiters and waitresses and includes a choice of entrees and vegetables. The food is excellent. They have some entertainment, a place where people can play puzzles together, and a lounge with coffee and cookies available all day. Movies are scheduled weekly, and they have craft sessions.

I visited LifeStream Senior Living. It is a small community, and I like that it is out of the way. I liked the landscaping; it has trees and grass instead of cactus and gravel. The staff was pleasant. They have one-bedroom and studio units that were small, but my mom won't need a large apartment. They also have walk-in showers with bars. They have Alzheimer's care, which is what I'm most concerned about for my mom. The facility was a little bit less expensive than the other places I have visited.

The rooms aren’t very spacious. I am hoping that she is going to be able to move into a private room. Actually, she is in with a roommate, and the room is quite small. I wouldn't recommend. I would not have chosen this community. She was in there for rehab at first, and that just ended last week. My uncle has just chosen to keep her at Premier at this time, so I don't know if it is a matter of convenience for him or what.

This community has been a true blessing for my wife and me. She is recovering from a stroke and is receiving wonderful help in CookHealth Care. I'm living in an independent living apartment within easy walking distance from Cook. Our 14 year old cat lives with me.

I have my dad in the nursing home and my mom is in the independent living facility, both in LifeStream Complete. They have the independent living, assisted living, and the nursing home. It is actually a very good nursing facility, and I picked it because a lot of them out here in Arizona are all desert landscaped and this one has a lot of very mature trees, grass, and so there is a lot of greenery on the property. They also take all sorts of insurance, and I have no problems with them. They are very loving, and they do everything they can to make the patients comfortable and the family happy. My mom really loves the independent living facility. She loves her apartment and she loves living there. She has just been diagnosed with dementia. So, when the time comes, we will be able to just transition her over to assisted living. It is an older facility, and they are going to be doing some remodeling. The only reason that I will give them a 4 is because they really need to do some remodeling in some of the halls, and once they have it remodeled, I will give them a 5+. I will definitely recommend them to others.

LifeStream Complete Senior Living at Youngtown is a good facility. They have activities to offer to people, but I am only 63 years old, and most of the people I saw were much older than I am. I found the rooms to be kind of small. They have all kinds of crafts, and they go shopping at least twice a week. They have a chapel on their own. They also have some outdoor amenities, like a pool. They really have a lot to offer.

I chose LifeStream Complete Senior Living because the grounds are beautiful, and mostly, the number one reason, was that there was great space and it is all on a single level. They have included in the price one hour of cleaning every two weeks. They supply one meal a day, and you can buy another meal if you want to. The food is above average. They provide a van if you want to be involved in the activities. They will take you to like Wal-Mart, the bank, and out to dinner maybe once or twice a month, and then they have other activities on the campus. I am satisfied with my room. The one I have is just a one-bedroom and it’s 670 sq. ft.

Lifestream is an old place. They have ground-floor apartments that are all connected. They also have a laundry room. I don't like my apartment because it's inconvenient and very tiny. There was not enough warm water or hot water to allow just for any shower. I can't do my laundry there. I have to do my own laundry because I couldn't afford the extra charge for them to do it. I had to push my laundry cart off an incline and down these long sidewalks in between buildings and by the time I did that and back again, I was utterly exhausted because of my condition. That is one of the reasons I left. The dining room was a low-cost restaurant. The kitchen was where they re-heated food. You might get a decent meal a week but the rest was either overheated or too hard for you to chew. I ended up having to buy my own groceries and cook my own foods. I said to them since I'm having to buy my own groceries and so forth, could that be deducted off my rent, and she said, 'no, it's part of your contract.' They didn't care, I don't feel they had much heart.

I have placed my mom in Life Stream. I liked the facility, their grounds, and the environment that she would be in when she's outside because it's not in a heavy traffic area. She has an apartment with a kitchen, so she can be self-sufficient if she wants to be even though I pay for her meals. They have a Sunday church service on-site and their activities meet her needs. I like the fact that if she is to graduate into assisted living or nursing home care, the facilities are right there in separate buildings and I won't have to relocate her to another site. She seems to be happy in there.
