Morningside Ministries Cahndler Estates

This is just a lovely place. It’s beautifully kept, well maintained and obviously well managed. I will move in at the end of this month. I chose a small apartment for my accommodation. Its small, I can’t bring most of my furniture but it’s beautiful. It has a kitchen and bath as well. I will eat in the dining room at the ground level. They will provide 2 meals per day, the other meal you can choose to cook or eat with your friends in another place.

This facility has 3 levels of care: independent living, assisted living and memory care for Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Most of my contacts are people from the office not really from caregivers. The personnel were very helpful and accommodating.

I would recommend this place to others.

There are many locations of the Morningside ministries in San Antonio. A friend of the family lives in Morningside Ministries Chandler Retirement Apartments, 135 W. French Place San Antonio, TX 78212 These facilities are very different from any other places for senior that are permanently staying outside their homes. Besides regular Senior centers and Rehab programs, MM has Hospice program which takes care of the oldest ones and provide the most comfort during their last days. We visit there every other week and every time I notice that the apartments complex is very well maintained and the staff is very friendly. The most important, in the conversation, seniors living there are happy too. They like that they are being involved in extra activities besides watching TV, like in regular places. The last time we were visiting they also provided snacks for the visiting family members, which was very nice.Overall,really great place for those who need to be taken care of and require time and attention.
