Our mother was a resident for only three weeks. Her room was never cleaned, there was constant staff turnover, and the head nurse was fired during her stay. It may seem nice on the surface, but it is disorganized and poorly managed.

We moved her back home after the first three weeks and lost our deposit, plus we had to pay for several weeks in the future. It was a very expensive $7,000 disaster for the three weeks she was there.

We do not recommend Rio Terra, and encourage others to look for a non-profit assisted living facility instead.

I am a professional in the region and have referred clients to Rio Terra, which is an independent living, assisted living & memory care community, providing an array of services to meet residents varying lifestyle needs.

Clients comments are all positive, whether they were talking about active, independent living or assisted & memory care living within the community. One client, a resident, who was active, said: "This is a beautiful place, with friendly staff & everything to do. I really enjoy it here." This multi-level-of-care community appears to provide a quality living setting and quality services to their residents, making it possible for them to be involved in & surrounded with quality living everyday.
