Royalton Place Independent Living

Royalton Place is a community I just started visiting about a year ago so while I am still learning more and more about the community I feel that I have a solid idea of Royalton's mission and purpose. I believe I have spent enough time here to where the residents are beginning to trust me more and more and I feel like I have spent enough time with the residents that they would feel comfortable enough to open up to me about any issues happening within the community. However, all I have ever heard the residents say about the staff and the community have always been very positive comments.

One of the things I noticed almost immediately following my first few visits is that the residents have A LOT of say when it comes to decisions being made about the community or any other decisions being made which could ultimately impact their lives in one way or another. Resident input is always encouraged by the staff. I always hear them asking the residents what they think about something or how they feel about a situation. They really seem to value resident suggestions, remarks, concerns, etc. whether it happens to be positive or negative they use that input as a way to better the community and provide the residents with a better quality of life. This is how a senior living residence should be, but unfortunately it is rare to find a management team that values complaints as much as they value compliments. However, when you do find a community, such as Royalton Place, that does this - then you've found a community worth living in. Just ask the residents who live here, they tell me all the time how wonderful it feels to live in a community where you are "heard", where you have a say in what happens, and where you know that what you say has value and is taken seriously. We all know what it feels like to have your words go in one ear and out the other of the person you are speaking to, we know how frustrating that is and it sadly is that way for the residents of MANY senior living communities. So that is why I am always referring people to Royalton Place - I know, no matter what, that the residents are valued and are not only a top priority to the staff, but are THE priority - for once a community that realizes that they are there for the residents, to make the residents lives easy and happy and comfortable - not the other way around. So I promise you that you will love and appreciate all that Royalton Place stands for.

By the way, the community is gorgeous - it is spacious and decorated in a very cozy and homey manner. There is such a cheerfulness about the community and I love that the residents feel so comfortable within it. The apartments are the perfect size and are designed perfectly for the residents. Everything about the community is was so well thought out - the layout is very easy to navigate and everything is easily accessible. Everything is so convenient and there is always something to do, the staff not only encourage an active lifestyle but they also make an active lifestyle possible by providing the residents with SO many creative group activities, social events, parties and celebrations, special outings, individual hobbies and pursuits, many programs and opportunities, and so much more. The residents really do have a blast around the community.

Royalton Place in only a little over one year has proven to me time and time again to be a honest, ethical, loving, and accommodating community that places their residents needs and desires above everything else. I would be thrilled if my loved ones chose to live in this community. I would have absolute peace of mind knowing that they are at all times protected, loved, treated wonderfully, and provided a lifestyle of promise and opportunity.
