I visited this facility

The buildings appeared in good condition. Nothing appeared run-down, and the grounds were inviting and well-kept. A tour of the place showed a cozy interior, also well kept. The kitchen area seemed well stocked and up-to-date, and very clean. The living areas were all kept spotless, and were inviting even to a bunch of high school kids. The facility offered every retired person their own room, which were well furnished, and more spacious than expected. There appeared to be enough employees on staff to be able to take care of the number of retirees present- which, in and of itself, was not an overwhelming number. The staff was professional and considerate. I remember especially a time when one of the retirees with Alzheimer's had somewhat of an episode- it was a bit shocking to us, however the staff took care of her immediately, in a kind and protective manner. The facility offered, at least while we were there, activities such as a daily exercise routine, group meals, voluntary games and craft times- and their facility allowed easily for walking the grounds or visiting with family. The staff had a good schedule for the place- it was adhered to contentedly, and not just strictly. Overall, it was a pleasant retirement community, with a good staff and a well-kept facility. They seemed to treat the retirees well, like actual human beings.
