I visited this facility
Dearborn Heights Co-op apartments is and excellent choice for someone who is looking for placement for someone who is 62 and over or for someone who is18 years of age and over and mobility impaired and need special designed characteristics’ within an assessable unit who prefers to live independently. I would recommend it to limited mobility individuals 18 years of age or older and for seniors 62 and over that is the apartment building policy.
While there I noticed that they offer their residents an array of on site social events to keep the community there socializing, interacting, busy and active. They also provide a community kitchen for their residents to socialize and eat together in with one another makes it more like a family system and their residents don’t have to stay cooped up in their apartments all day long especially for the ones that have limited mobility. All their apartments also have kitchens in them as well. I would rank this apartment building on a five stars rating for their diverse community.
Out of five stars, I would rank the grounds five stars it has a lot of scenery the park across the street from the apartment building the apartment building is in the suburban area of Dearborn Heights, Michigan but not a country setting but more on a residential type setting. it is a very nice and quiet neighborhood very low crime rate. They also provide a beauty shop and a barber shop for both the men and women that live in the building. They also provide an array of social activities for their residents. It is also a low income apartment building for low income individuals that are on a low budget.
The common areas three stars the residents’ apartments five stars they are very spacious. the staff five stars and the quality of care five stars and all utilities are included and Picnic areas on site, as well as easy assessable for their residents to enjoy on a low income budget. Very affordable and especially for a low income budget individual to fit right into their pockets with lots of greenery surrounding the apartment building the fresh green smell outside the apartment building.
Overall, I'd give Dearborn Heights Co-op a rating of three stars because the apartment building has too many floors it is a fourteen floor apartment building. I would give it a three stars rating. It would be ideal for someone who isn’t afraid of heights and for someone that is low income that would like to live in a nice suburban neighborhood that is safe and secured for them as well.
