My mom was there until almost 2 years. Housekeeping is promised once/week is in the contract, however, it really was not. It was only after we complained over and over that she would get it done. The food quality declined while she was there. The struggle to find a chef who stays more than 6-9 months. They run out of items on the menu and frequently substitute. The Activities are good though! Location was the main reason my mom stayed, but overall for the $3600+/month (one bedroom apartment) not worth it.

I visited Holiday New England Club. It was very clean, modern, and updated. It was well laid out. The apartment that I saw was adequate. It had a full kitchen, which was nice, and a walk-in closet in the bedroom. They had several activities for mental stimulation. I saw very few people walking around, but it looked like a friendly atmosphere. The staff that I talked to and met was very nice and friendly.

The staff at Holiday New England Club were very nice. The facility was quite large and spacious. So, you'd have to do quite a bit of travel. The rooms were very nice. I think they supply three meals a day and they were middle-priced. So, they were a good value. The lady was very nice and helpful. She explained a lot of things.

New England Club was a really nice and beautiful facility. They had a lot of things to offer. It was a little bit outside the regular price point that we were looking for, but that was our number one choice, if we could afford it. The staff was very knowledgeable, informative, and understanding of the situation with my grandfather. They were just very helpful in showing different options, and even if we couldn't be placed there for his needs, they were really good about offering suggestions and things to look for in other places that would be more beneficial to him. They provide transportation to the offsite places that they make as a group, like field trips, and they have a community area to sit and play games together, or have entertainment, and things like that.

The staff at New England Club seemed very caring. The studio that I looked at had the combination that my uncle needed as far as the baths and the walk-in shower. It was a little big so anyone down the hall would probably need something (like a wheelchair) to get back and forth because it is a decent walk for people. Other than that, everything was really nice and it seemed quite open. Trish and Marianne were both wonderful. They explained everything to me. It was a nice, clean facility with nice views from their balconies or the porches. They showed me the library, the exercise room, the theater, the chapel, and a dining area where you can reserve for family members to come and have a meal together.

My dad moved to the New England Club. It is very clean, very resort-like, and the people seemed to be pretty caring. They have everything that my father would like, including three meals a day. He likes the food, they do activities, and they have an activities room. They only offer a little kitchenette sink, they do not have appliances, because they serve three meals a day. So they don't need all the appliances.

My mother was in New England Club. I would say that our overall experience was disappointing. There just was not a lot of communication from the front office to the residents or the resident's families. There was no orientation, there was no partnering for new residents to have kind of a buddy system. It's a very large facility, it's huge and the care there is just very, very limited. Her food was cold constantly. We contracted with a home care agency so that she could have 24-hour a day assistance to get her where she needed to go, and that was a nightmare. She fell several times and there was no one nearby to be able to help her, so we ended up moving her out of thereafter. They had a variety of things closed down because of COVID. They bring in a music group of some sort once a month, my mom wasn't able to participate in any of the activities because of her falls. She declined as far as her memory went, and no one offered to take her to any of the activities, so she never knew that there was even an option. They just don't have enough staff to care for all of the people that that need their care. So it was not a good experience, but a learning experience. The meals are included. Mom was in an area where they were supposed to be able to keep a better eye on them after she fell, and so her meals were brought to her. She did not go to the large dining room. Because of that, every meal she got was cold since it takes a long time once they prepare them in the kitchen to get them back to where mom was. So she didn't eat very well while she was there. I would not recommend it unless someone can live independently. But if they need any sort of care for anything other than just maybe getting their meals, it would not be a place that I would recommend.

Our visit to the New England Club was good. I enjoyed it. It was just a little bit too big, and there were too many people for my parents. The rooms they have are smaller than what my parents have now, but it was nice. It had one-and-a-half baths and two bedrooms. The person who gave us the tour was very nice and very knowledgeable, and she called me back a couple of times after the visit.

I visited the New England Club in Cincinnati. The tour was great, they were very informative, answered all my questions, showed me the entire place, and my dad felt comfortable there. The staff was very helpful, they even gave us an apple pie. From the tour it looked like he would have everything he could need in there.

I will be moving into New England Club. I like the people, the things they offer, the bathrooms, and the apartment. I like the look of the whole place. The dining rooms weren't open because of the virus, but they're starting to open up now. They give you a necklace in case you do fall. Everything you need is there. The staff is very informative and attentive. The place looks beautiful. I was very happy with it. We met the cleaning people and they worked with us. I like the sliding glass doors, the bright light, and the openness of the place. I have a patio outside. I can walk out my front door and I can sit out there.

The staff is very nice and the facilities have been improved. There are many activities for residents to do. Be aware that corporate will jack up your monthly rate every year by 6%, even when inflation is low, so if you start paying $2600 a month, in three years you could be paying $3100 month. They have a program to lock in your monthly rate at your current rate, but it costs thousands of dollars (one-time fee) for you to do so.

Our mother is in her second full year at "The Club". She loves going out on Beechmont Ave shopping and enjoying events like the LuWOW! The apartment is perfect for her and her pet Patches. The balcony is wonderful and the duck pond and pathways are a delight. I would recommend to anyone who wants the extra security and enjoys the socializing.

It is just OK. The building is pretty old and it wasn't all that great construction to begin with. There is no indoor pool for exercise but they do have a modest gym. The staff is friendly and they try to stay on top of things, but their Corporate HQ is always scheming to get more out of the residents or to cut their costs. The latest is that the managers will no longer live on premise which is NOT what we signed up for when we moved my mother there. Lots of turnover among the managers over the last few years too, reflecting the conflicts they have to deal with between care, caring and cost.

The other facility that my father was at is New England Club. They’re independent living, but they have a separate company that comes and does assisted living. The assisted living is very limited; it’s not a very heavy assisted living. They’ll come and make sure you’re taking your pills and help you with the shower, but that’s pretty much it. It’s a very large facility, and the people who go there love it. It’s a very homey place, a very friendly place, and the staff is very nice. The other positive about it is the rooms are quite large. The negative about it is it’s an older facility. It’s not bad; it just is not new. He was there for 4 months. Friendly staff and a great community.

New England Club was really nice and clean and in a very good area. Everybody seemed really nice. I had known New England Club for years. It was right next to where I grew up and where my mom lived. The room was a fine, model room, so, it was not the actual room she would be living in. it was furnished and everything. They said they had daily activities and their own bus, so they do day trips and shopping trips where they took them around to all the different shops. If you wanted to pick up like your medicines, you would be able to do that.

New England seemed to be older, but it was still pretty nice, and it was in a pretty good area. The rooms were pretty decent. I think they have an exercise room. The staff who showed me around was nice. They invited me a couple of times for veteran’s dinner, but I never made it there yet for that.

New England Club was a very nice facility. The people there were very nice. I saw their dining area. It was very nice and very clean. The rooms were great. I was impressed that it was pretty updated, and everything was very nice. It was secured, but the I didn't see anything outstanding about it.

This facility allows seniors to stay in same apartment when they need more assisted care. This is really important because seniors do not like change. Also, if they improve and no longer need care, those expenses go way and they return to independent living.

My mother and I visited the facility within the last six months as my mother was contemplating a move to the area from Florida. We found the grounds to be very beautiful. We felt the facility was too large and that the residents we saw were much more physically disabled than my 89 year old mother is. The price is costly compared to other facilities that we have visited. I think the primary reason is that you can visit other facilities throughout the United States that are somehow connected with the New England Club. However, my mother and I would suppose most of the residents would not and do not take advantage of this costly option.

I would have to say that, for this area, the New England Club is probably the best place you could put a loved one. Understandably, a facility with stellar performance such as this is quite expensive. I am just happy that I don't have to worry about my mother on a day to day basis, as I know she is very well taken care of. I never have to worry about her day to day things, as the New England Club takes care of all that. She is quite happy there, and it's nice that I can just go and visit with the kids without having to deal with the hassle of a front desk receptionist and having to sign in, provide identification of who I am, and things like that. Everything is taken care of for her there, and she seems to be quite happy with it. I would highly recommend, if you can afford it, the New England Club for a family member that might need some type of assisted living. They are, by far, in my opinion the absolute best in the area.

I really enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. The staff were older as well and lived right there with my grandfather, enjoying the same amenities and going through the same community issues he went through. Other individuals in the community were similar to my grandfather in terms of age and background. Many were well educated and he enjoyed their company a great deal. He especially liked being able to play euchre, sing hymns, and talk politics with members of the community. The main downside of the facilities, which were beautiful and had a lake, surrounded by trees, were that they were a bit smelly. When walking in to the community and to the right, you would be inundated by an old urine smell that was very unpleasant. One other problem with the community is that many individuals turn up the volume on their tvs too loud, which disturbs other well-hearing residents. On the whole, I'd recommend this community to another person looking for an assisted living or similar sort of residence.

My mother has been a resident for some time.. She rather enjoys her time.. But lately she has been complaining about three different caregivers that work there... Tosha H, stephanie B, and nicole Z. I do not and have not had the displeasure of meeting these girls but from what my mother has told me they are anything but nice.. The service is wonderful.. My only complaint is the caregivers.. If they cannot be nice and appreciate their job and the fact that they actually have one then they should find another place of employment.
