Feedback About This Caregiver:

There was a situation Patricia walked into where her client had fallen down the cellar stairs and had sustained a horrific head injury. Patricia called 911 and followed the ambulance to the hospital to stay with the client so he was not alone. The family was so relieved and grateful that Pat not only found him but also went to the Emergency Room to be by his side. Patricia worked through the situation in a calm and professional manner. She always follows the proper procedures in any stressful situation she may face. All of her clients specifically request her no one else. This speaks volumes about the quality of care she is providing to them.

More About This Caregiver:

Pat has overcome obstacles with a smile on her face. A few years ago, she was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer and worked through her treatment, only taking time off during her radiation. During this time, Pat's daughter became ill, and she made the decision to put her own treatment on hold to care for her daughter. She is a fabulous caregiver for her daughter and for all her clients. Pat has taught us to have perseverance in the face of any obstacle and that above all else, to value the importance of helping individuals stay safe and remain independent at home. To be a home health aide, you need to enjoy your job, be trustworthy and treat everyone with respect. Pat definitely helps us get the job done with all of her wonderful qualities.

Three years ago, Patricia was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. Pat worked throughout her treatment and had to take some time off during her radiation. After about a year, Pat had a scan and found out the cancer was back. She had to go through radiation again. After her first day of radiation, Pat's young daughter was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes. She was in ICU at Children's Hospital Boston. Pat put her treatment on hold to care for her daughter. After the hospital controlled her daughter's insulin, she was sent home. Patricia came back to work for us and every day she leaves to give her daughter insulin at school at noon time. Pat continues to work and take care of her clients as this is her passion. She loves her job and her clients think of her as family. Pat takes care of everyone as if they were her parents. I would recommend Patricia to take care of any elder in need.
