We only see them once a week for one day, so it's not a daily thing. They provide companion care and help keep his room clean. All of their caregivers have been fantastic. We've seen quite a few of them until we found a permanent one and everyone has been really nice.

They have made my life extremely easier. The impact on my daily life is extremely different from before. I am on disability and have pain every day. I am not eating just toast anymore. I am eating good food. Also, the laundry and my apartment is clean. It is organized. Even mentally and emotionally, I feel the impact because I have a very cheerful caregiver. The cleaning is excellent. I like the way the caregiver needs to report every day what was done for the patient. The way they need to clock in and clock out is very good. The screening of the caregivers gives me a comfortable feeling.

It's helped me a lot, I do not need as much help with things as I used to, but I am trying to relearn how to use my right hand again after not being able to use it for 25 years, so if they see me struggling they step right in to assist without my asking. So far, it's been different having a few different people coming in, but they've all been really helpful and nice, and they know what they're doing. I've been really impressed.

I'd like them to find out more about the abilities of the caregivers - do they just microwave meals or do they provide home cooked meals? They could also get a better idea of what the patient's need is by asking more questions of the individual. I'm not sure what their training program is or their expectations, but I think that they could do better matching people with the appropriate skills - if they need someone to clean, they should be good at cleaning, etc.

As a senior, they do some things that I can't do any more for myself. One time they let me know that someone wasn't coming. The caregiver let them know the day prior. I'd appreciate it if they let me know the day before and not at the last minute. Other than that, I'm very satisfied.

When they're here, it gives me someone that I can talk to. I try not to distract them, but there's someone for me to talk to because my cat doesn't answer me when I ask her a question. At first, I had a bath aide, which I really liked because I needed one at the time. Then they gave me someone to help with the housekeeping for 4 hours a day twice a week. I had to cut back on that because that was too much. I didn't have enough for them to do. I cut back to one day a week for 4 hours. I don't need them for 4 hours because we can get everything done in a shorter amount of time. I like having someone here to do the things I can't really do right now since I fractured my hip last November. I appreciate them very much.

They go right to work, the only thing that frustrates me is that they keep switching them. I would like consistent caregivers.

If there is a sub, they don't know to go to the side door. 90% of the time I don't need to worry about her. There are little interruptions. I like that I feel like when I contact them, they are really present and will try to figure out how to fix my need. They are very warm. I feel like I have support from them.
